I am a Classical Guitarist, Clarinettist, Saxophonist, and fully qualified GTCS music teacher who grew up in Bishopbriggs. I had the privilege of growing up and being a part of the musical community in Bishopbriggs and gained a lot of experience through all of the opportunities offered to me. Teaching at BSM gives me the opportunity to give back to the community that I have gained and benefitted so much from.

I studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, studying Clarinet with John Cushing and Classical Guitar with Allan Neave and Matthew McAllister - achieving a BMus Honours Degree in Classical Guitar. Throughout my later years at school and during my time at the Conservatoire, I found a great passion for teaching through private tuition and working at music schools which led me to gain a Postgraduate Diploma in Education.

I have a vast range of experience performing in a variety of different contexts which I am able to draw on in my lessons, mostly notably undertaking a tour of China and performing at the BBC Proms in the Albert Hall with the Youth Orchestra of Scotland. I also have a broad range of experience in solo performance, performing at competitions, masterclasses, and festivals in Scotland as well as solo recitals.

My lessons are pupil focused with the aim of making each pupil the best, most rounded musician they can be, while keeping lessons engaging and, mostly importantly, fun.

I am available for Clarinet, Saxophone, Guitar (Acoustic/Electric/Classical) and Music Theory lessons.
